Awards
- Cash awards will be given to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers.
- Prizes will also be awarded to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers in each age bracket.
- A Male and Female “Masters” prize will be given to the Top Male and Top Female finishing times for the climbers over the age of 40.
- The Team Champion Award will be given to the team with the best average time of their top 3 finishers. Only 3 people are required to be part of a team to be considered for the Team Champion Award. The Top 3 Teams will be recognized.

Participant Check In and Logistics
- Trek Up the Tower will officially kick off at 7:30 A.M. however you must select a Check In time upon completing your registration. Check In times are in 15 minute intervals beginning at 7:00 A.M. Elite Pass participants may begin checking in at 7:00 A.M. until 7:45 A.M. Elite Pass qualifiers are highly encouraged to select an early Check In time slot. All other participants will begin Checking In at 8:00 A.M. The final Check In time is 10:30 A.M. A limited number of participants are allowed per time slot. Time slots will close once they are full.
- Please arrive to First National Bank at your designated Check In time that you selected upon registration. You will not be allowed to Check In prior to your selected Check In time. Participants will receive their race materials after Check In, drop personal items at gear check (please bring your own small bag to be checked), and then proceed to the start line. Participants will be admitted into the stairwell individually every 5-6 seconds. A line is to be expected, but it does move quickly.
Elite Pass Qualifications
- Male: Prior Trek Up the Tower time of 8 minutes or less.
- Female: Prior Trek Up the Tower time of 9 minutes or less.
- *Documentation may be required to select Elite Pass.
Awards Ceremony and Post Party
- Food, music and vendors will be provided in the Winter Garden area of the FNB lobby. Winners of the different categories will be posted once the final participant has completed the race (approximately 11:00 a.m.).
Event Specifics
- Parking: Parking is available throughout the downtown Omaha area. Fee parking is the responsibility of the participant.
- T-shirt/Gift Bag pickup: A t-shirt will be waiting for you to pick up at Post-Party in the Winter Garden area of the FNB lobby. Your participant medal will be awarded upon completion of the race on the 40th floor.

Waiver for Training Regimen for Trek up the Tower Website
- I know that the training regimen for Trek up the Tower, a vertical race (which is a stair climbing race) is a potentially hazardous activity which could cause injury or death. I should not follow the training regimen unless I am medically able or consulted with a physician. I assume all risks associated with this training regimen recommended for Trek up the Tower. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Wellness Council of the Midlands, the Trek up the Tower Leadership committee and their respective organizations, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this training regiment for Trek up the Tower.
